Family Reunification
Your family closer to you.
If you already have a residence permit (IRP) in Ireland, you may have the right to bring family members to live with you. Each situation has its specific requirements.
Who Can You Bring?
Family reunification rights depend on your permit type. We analyse your specific case to identify your options.
Stamp 1G – Family Member of Employment Permit Holder
Residence permission for direct family members of Employment Permit holders. Stamp 1G allows the spouse/partner and dependent children to reside and work in Ireland.
Stamp 0 – Permission Types and Financial Requirements
Residence permission without the right to work, for dependent family members who do not qualify for Stamp 1G. This is not automatic — it requires a new application, analysis and approval.
Your Visa Type Matters
Family reunification rights vary significantly between visa types. Critical Skills holders, for example, have more options than General Employment Permit holders. An individual assessment is essential to understand your real options.
